Room With A View

Whew!
First week back and I'm finally settling in.
Having to move twice didn't really help, but now that I've gotten things in place it's getting easier.
Sort of.
I still don't have any resources in my room, though today I saw my computers being dropped off by
Big Brown.
I should get them in a couple days, after the tech folks install all the programs and firewalls and such.
By borrowing a couple of cameras from the other photo room I may be able to get going.
Which is a good thing, cause I'm running out of make up things.
If you know what I mean.
This year looks good.
I mean my classes look good, filled with young faces eager to learn all about the intricacies of taking spectacular digital images.
Not that I know anything about spectacular digital images, they are still eager to learn.
I get to try out some different things and hopefully learn something from my students too.
My schedule is pretty lax with my day beginning  at around 9:30 on some days, and ending by lunch on others.
Meetings pending as we got some extended hour days put into our contract so it's not like I can just dig out anytime I feel like it.
Although I do.
Sometimes.
I mean like I never.
Dig out early I mean.
Anyways, I'm pretty stoked about this year, especially since I got this nice view out of my windows:

Okay, it's not special or anything, but I see and get a nice cool breeze coming off them mountains back there.
Better than looking down over the maintenance yard and woodshop lemme tell you.
I even got fishes:

Not quite sure who's running the show down there, but I'm gonna find out exactly what's going on.
Anyways, this is going to be a busy month at the Flat Tire Command Center what with the new classroom and in a few weeks I'll be moving again.
This time to a hopefully more semi permanent location.
More on that later.
They say that change is good,  and I'm started to see the light.
Sort of.
