HONOLULU- Federal officials were concerned and puzzled today by the appearance of a large Tic Tac Toe marker on a downtown sidewalk. Police taped off the area and searched frantically for more Xs and Os but none were found.
"We are worried that it might be part of a computer war game and that the misplaced X may be needed to prevent thermonuclear war," said an official who did not wish to be named. The Tic Tac Toe marker's appearance coincides with escalating tensions in the East over the development of nuclear weapons. "If more Xs and Os show up, we'll go to DEFCON 1 and play it by ear."
