Friday Stuff

Okay!
The train is a moving again!
For the last couple of days it's sort of been stuck at the station but now we're making some forward progress.
Bowl-o-rama!
Finally got around to getting some bowls done and the kiln will be chugging along all week end.
Need to make a glaze run soon, before Thanksgiving weekend, so I can finish them up.
I'm also getting desperate to get out on the road and to the bicycle thing.
Boy, I'm feeling really guilty as I haven't been out for like two weeks.
Talk about getting fat.
Sort of like these racks:

Some dude on CL was selling these plastic racks that you need to fill up with sand or water.
I sort of thought about it for like two seconds, then decided that it just wouldn't fit in with the interior design of my living room.
If you know what I mean.
Besides, it has room for three bicycles and I only have two and you know with me being all OCD and everything, that just wouldn't do.
Besides, they look sort of Fisher-Price, in a ghetto sort of way.
Down the street from where I change my oil, sometimes I pass this place but I've never managed to get a picture until now:

This has got to be one of the oddest churches I've ever seen.
Maybe it's some early I.M. Pei or something.
I don't quite know what to make of it.
I mean I can't even begin to try and explain it.
Even if I make something up.
Another oddity came up as I searched the eVilness:

A Gios touring bike.
One that takes 20 inch wheels!
What caught my attention was the position of the rear brake thingy.
Then I looked at the fork.
Then I said to myself WTF?
Then I said to myself why the hell not?
Okay, not really.
I mean I don't think I'd ride that, not really anyways.
I'd read that Gios was going to try and diversify a bit and turn some production overseas, but I think that's just goofy!
At least paint it a different color.
Looking at that in Gios blue sort of makes me want to cry.
Speaking of color, just wait till you see what's coming out of the kiln.
More bowls means more bling!
I hope.

That Gios looks like it was designed by IM Pei.

Mark, I dunno what's going on with that Gios, but now I sort of want to see it built up.

Steve A, that's odd.
